Kriss Culver, The North Coast Chef has been a chef since he was a teenager and a private chef since 2018.Having worked globally, Kriss has now returned to the West Country delighting guests with his delicious and inspired menus.

The North Coast Chef specialises in offering specifically designed menus for each individual group, there are sample menus available on his website for you to browse and get an idea of the types of dishes he offers. 3, 4 or 5 course menus are typically served with canapes, pre desserts, fish courses etc. Tapas style sharing menus are also very popular for the larger groups or for more relaxed family style dining.

Kriss has been praised for his quick response times via email or the online contact form, creating a friendly and relaxed environment on the nights and leaving the kitchen spotless at the end of the night - Just see his many 5-star Google reviews.

Hawkers Hot Tubs

New for 2026

Hawkers Hot Tub Hire was created by Chloé in 2022, the name inspired by the beautiful Hawkers Cove in Padstow. With a background working on Superyachts, Chloé offers that extra level of service along with a friendly face. Hot tubs are delivered, set up and filled on site.

Cumbrae House guests can hire from a selection of portable hot tubs which can be ordered directly from Chloé, there is also a small fill charge paid directly to Cumbrae House. Hires can be for the whole or part of your stay.
