We had a fabulous week in Trebarwith Strand & Cumbrae House. Highlights, of which there are many, but staying somewhere so peaceful, with in 200m of the most beautiful beach, whether tide in or out . This house, the location simply allows you to unwind….I am writing this review already feeling low that we only booked a week and now back home!

Hard to find actual highlights when all is good. Cumbrae is so well set up for all sorts of things -- dining in the evening round the long table, watching telly or film in the sitting room, while others read or chat in the front bit, relaxing on the sun deck (weather permitting), easy access to the beach and the PW -- and to Tintagel over the cliffs if feeling energetic, or easy drive round. Many thanks for doing such a good job on the renovations and making it so available.

We loved late afternoon drinks on the sun deck, evening meals in the kitchen, and waking up to the wonderful view of the sea. We felt really comfortable and relaxed straight away, because the house is so beautifully furnished and equipped. It was also great that there were so many bathrooms - so no one had to share! Thank you for a lovely week - we hope to be back!

Beautiful house in a stunning location We stayed at Cumbrae House during May half term (4 mums and 6 teenage girls). The house is beautiful with lots of great art work, lovely sea views, perfect terrace for sunbathing, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and a cool cave! Celebration holiday. What a great property and location for a family holiday. Also celebrating my retirement and our 40th wedding anniversary. After seeing photos of Cumbrae House,everyone was so excited. We weren't disappointed when we arrived. There was everything you could think of that you might need for your holiday and more (i couldn’t find a veg peeler), but the good assortment of kitchen equipment did the job.
